Accomodation of patrimony classes |
Conques' centre for the initiation and discovery of the patrimony is an associative structure. The various suggested forms of stays allow to discover or study in the best conditions the historical, architectural, artistic, ethnologic patrimony as well as the natural environment of a region, relying on :
- A very interesting setting from the architectural point of view
- An exceptional monument and place
- Safeguarded natural surroundings in the heart of an interesting medium mountains environment on several accounts (geology, flora, fauna, economy)
- Closeness of outstanding places
- Possibility of playing sports and activities in the wilds (canoe-kayak, stunt bike, walk and equestrian rides...)
- Possibility of practising various manual work-groups (cabinetwork, stone carving...)
- The quality of the centre's equipment and its team's skills
- Educational contributors of a good standard in their special field

The setting |
The accommodating residence in the heart of the village holds :
- 17 bedrooms from 1 to 8 beds with bathroom in each bedroom (shower, washbasin, WC)
- 1 restaurant hall, 1 public kitchen
- 1 reception, 1 classroom
- 2 rooms fitted with video-projection
- Workshops, meeting rooms
- 1 library

Accomodation requirements |
The minimum duration for the stay is 5 days. Each class' programme is agreed with the
teachers according to their educational plan.
The price of the stay is 200 F per day and per child. A free inscription is granted to one
teacher out of 25 pupils.
